Having a website gets your business online, gets your business found more often by people already online searching for the services your business offers, and helps you do more business by positioning yourself in front of more of the right people.
The cons are that it’s not as dynamic as a custom-coded solution would usually be. When you use tools and plugins to create a website you are at the mercy of the tool’s and plugin’s ability to customize themselves. Sometimes, you can get close, but not perfect – and that has to be good enough. Other times, you can do a little light-coding to flesh out the effect you’re aiming for.
The trade-off for giving up a little control is increased ease of use and speed of development. You may run into customization roadblocks, but you won’t waste any time getting there or being stuck, so it’s no big deal. There’s a pre-existing WordPress plugin for nearly every type of functionality you can imagine, so if you’re not trying to do something super-duper-complex then you’re going to be just fine.
Affordable Website Solutions for Businesses
If quick and affordable sounds like music to your ears then a low-code WordPress website may be your best solution.
